Effective October 8, 2026 · Updated October 18, 2026 to describe connected analytics and reporting

Social Studio is operated by Alexander Dangler as an individual. Contact Stonefletcherofficial@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we process

We process your account name and sign-in information; Google account identifier and profile information when you use Google sign-in; workspace membership, invitations and brand settings; uploaded media, drafts, captions, schedules, review history and publishing results; and support conversations. Passwords are stored as hashes. Connected-platform information includes authorized Page and account identifiers, profile names, connection status and access tokens used to provide the features you authorize. Analytics can include current account totals, public post identifiers, captions or titles, publication dates and links, post-performance counters, daily activity, and platform-provided audience aggregates such as age ranges, gender, country and city. We do not infer individual followers or fill in demographic groups that a platform withholds. Hosting systems may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and error logs, to operate and protect the service.

Why we use it

We use this information to sign you in, manage your workspace, store and display your content, support collaboration and reviews, connect authorized social accounts, publish content you authorize, display analytics and exports for your connected accounts, enforce plan limits, respond to support requests and investigate failures or abuse. We keep records of account agreement to our terms. Connected account credentials are encrypted at rest using an application connection key.

Who receives information

Information you share in a workspace or through a review link is available to the people you authorize. The operator can access information as needed to run the service and handle support. DigitalOcean hosts the service and server backups; configured media storage providers host media used by the service. Google processes Google sign-in and authorized YouTube connections and analytics. Meta processes Facebook and Instagram connections, analytics and authorized publishing. TikTok processes its authorized account, public-video and publishing integrations. Other platforms receive data when you use their enabled connections. Stripe processes checkout, subscription and invoice information when you use paid services. Our configured email delivery provider, Resend, processes recipient addresses and email content to deliver service messages. These providers process information under their own policies and may process it outside your country.

Publishing sends the content and media you authorize to the selected platform. Media used for publishing may be made accessible to that platform through a hosted URL; do not use confidential media for publication. Social Studio does not sell your personal information or use connected-platform data for advertising.

AI assistants and connected apps

You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to a workspace you own. You choose the workspace and an access level on a Social Studio consent screen. We then store a record of the connection: the assistant's registered name and return address, the workspace, the access level, hashed access and refresh tokens, expiry times, and the changes the assistant makes. Depending on the access level, the assistant can receive your brands and their settings, drafts, captions, planned dates and destinations, media file names and details, review comments and approvals, connected-profile names and status, and analytics. It can create drafts and, with the highest level, request reviews, comment and record your approval. Assistants cannot publish, delete content, upload media, connect accounts or change billing or team settings through this connection.

Information an assistant receives is processed by that assistant's provider under its own terms and privacy policy, and may be kept in your conversation history there. Social Studio does not receive your conversations with the assistant, only the requests it makes to your workspace. A connection lasts up to 30 days. You can disconnect it at any time in Agent access, and changing your password disconnects all assistants. Connection records are kept while your workspace exists and are removed when you request deletion of your account or workspace, following the data-deletion instructions.

Cookies and storage

The service uses a session cookie and browser storage for sign-in, security and interface settings. These are used to operate the service, rather than for advertising tracking.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the service. You can disconnect a social integration to remove its locally stored connection credentials. Disconnecting is separate from revoking consent in the platform account and does not delete previously published posts. Analytics responses are cached to reduce repeated provider requests; older cache entries are cleared during subsequent report refreshes. Disconnecting does not itself erase every historical report, shared workspace record or backup. For account closure or deletion of other information, follow our data-deletion instructions. Some information may need to be retained for security, disputes or legal obligations. Backups can retain earlier copies until replaced or expired; deletion from the active service does not immediately erase every backup. Shared workspace records and posts already published on another platform may require separate handling.

Your choices and requests

You can edit your account content and brand settings where controls are available, disconnect integrations, revoke access with a platform, or contact us to request access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights that apply to you. We may ask for information needed to verify the request and your authority over shared data. Do not send passwords, access tokens or identity documents in an initial request.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and communicate material changes as appropriate. Contact the operator at the address above with questions.
