What the allowances mean
One account shares its allowances across all brands. Creating another brand does not reset the limits. Monthly post and agent/API allowances reset on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC.
- Post slots: a slot is reserved when a post is queued for one destination. Sending the same post to Instagram and Facebook uses two slots. Retrying the same operation does not use another slot.
- Agent/API requests: authenticated assistant and API reads, writes and retries count toward the allowance. Browser activity is not metered as agent/API usage.
- Team members: the owner uses one seat. External client reviewers are separate and do not use team seats on paid plans.
- Media storage: shared across the account. Extra storage is not purchased automatically.
There are no automatic overage charges. AI generation and any separate assistant subscription are not included.
Questions about upgrading
Can I start without a credit card?
Yes. Create an account on Free without a card. Upgrade through Plans & billing when you need more brands, capacity or external client review links.
Can I upgrade before complimentary access ends?
Yes. The complimentary-access banner opens paid-plan selection. You can subscribe to the same tier or choose another paid tier. The paid subscription starts when checkout completes; it does not wait for the complimentary period to end.
Will a complimentary trial charge me automatically?
No. A three-month complimentary trial returns to Free limits when it expires unless you choose a paid subscription. Ongoing complimentary grants have no scheduled expiry.
Where do I manage billing?
Workspace owners can open Plans & billing in Social Studio to choose a plan or open subscription and invoice management. Contact support from the workspace if you need help.
